During the installation of a power-knee on one of the Bridgeport mills in the Olin Shop, the knee shaft was bent beyond use. In a time-crunch situation, I turned a new shaft, maintaining tight tolerance, minimal runout, and concentricity, allowing the mill to be operational before the first machine shop class of the semester.
