I joined Olin's Formula SAE team (Olin Electric Motorsports) in January of 2025. The team was entering its semester-long fabrication cycle. During this time, I mentored teammates in advanced fabrication and welding techniques. Furthermore, I worked extensively on ensuring coordination with the rulebook, primarily regarding chassis and driver safety.

My favorite project during this semester was the design and fabrication of wheel faces and spacers. Initially, the team planned for spacers, as seen in Image 3, for all four wheels. But I designed an integrated wheel spacer/face for the front wheels, which reduced the weight by 114 grams (11%). This weight reduction is particularly beneficial as it reduces unsprung mass, improving the suspension characteristics of the vehicle.
